There was a great turn out for pictures at the ARC Pageant. So many beautiful dresses and faces all dolled up! Of all of the girls that stopped by I can only list a few here...there was about 30 or so that had pictures made. Thanks to all who came by and let me photograph their little beauties.

Easter/Fishing Portraits-Children Photography April Sherrill Haleyville, AL

Hello to all! I'm a little late in posting these, so sorry I got behind. Here are just a few of the pictures from the 'Quick Takes' a few weeks ago. We had live ducklings. We featured 'gone fishing' scene and Easter pictures. I had such a great time watching these kiddies with the ducklings. Their facial expressions were priceless! So sorry I cannot post them all. Here are just a few favorites. Oh and here are some quotes from the sessions the kiddies had to say!!! '...the duckie needs to be put in the pool to get clean, he needs a bath...' LOL (after we had a little poopie accident with the duckie lol NOT ON THE CHILD THANK GOODNESS) 'look at him, he must like me', 'can we take them home', 'where did they go...are they still taking a nap?' Thanks to all who took part in this event. Thanks to all the mommies who brought me their kiddies to photograph! I had a great time :)

Keeping Me Busy With Portraits, Pics, Children and More - April Sherrill Photography/Haleyville, AL 35565

Daycare and Spring portraits have been keeping me really busy these days! Not to mention my baby starting t-ball, juggling that with my son that is playing baseball and school work and you've got a crazy mix. I hope to be caught up soon on some edits and posts of recent work. I am keeping my fingers crossed for a mini vaca next week during Spring break. We'll see what I have time for lol. Anniversary Portraits-Tuscumbia, AL April Sherrill Photography

Saturday, I had the privilege of photographing this lovely couples anniversary pictures. A few months ago I also got a chance to photograph her sister and her husband as well. Relationship portraits are always laid back and easy going. There is no need to rush, we took our time and walked around finding the perfect spots. The sun got a little bright as the clouds started to clear, perfect day for pictures, the first day of spring :) Hope you both love your pics as much as I do and had an enjoyable portrait experience! Second to new baby portraits, my next favorite thing to photograph is new sibling portraits. These are so much fun. You never know what to expect! It's always different and exciting to see a new big brother or sister with the new baby in their family. This new big brother, only being 3, just had his little world rocked when his baby sister was born. According to him he thinks she's too loud and is a little fussy! However, when I was holding and positioning her, he was very protective of her lol. He would not agree to let me take her home with me! They both are too cute and a joy to photograph!
